Become a Certified Professional Coach Through the VAE
Are you already working as a coach but don't have official certification?
Through the Validation of Prior Learning (VAE), earn the RNCP Level 6 Professional Coach Certification (RNCP No. 39614), recognized by the French government via France Compétences.
The RNCP Professional Coach certification is eligible for the CPF (Personal Training Account). This means you can use your CPF to fund all or part of your VAE support, since it is aimed at obtaining a certification registered in the National Directory of Professional Certifications.
The Level 6 of the RNCP corresponds to a Bac +3 / Bac +4 level. It attests to a high level of professional mastery and operational skills recognized by companies, institutions, and the coaching ecosystem.
Why choose this online course with the Institut de Coaching International France?
- Immediate recognition by organizations: a clear RNCP certification for HR, funding agencies, and clients.
- Enhanced credibility: your practice is evaluated by a certification panel and aligned with an official standard.
- Expanded access to opportunities: calls for proposals, corporate engagements, funding programs (e.g., OPCO), business development.
- Premium support: 5 personalized one-on-one sessions with an experienced coach (mentoring + methodological support).
- 100% remote: flexible schedule (daytime or evening, on weekdays), dedicated digital campus.
- Block-based certification: block-by-block validation, which can be accumulated over time.

What exactly is VAE?
The Validation of Prior Learning (VAE) is a public program that recognizes your years of professional experience. It allows you to obtain an official degree, without having to complete a full training program, by having your skills recognized by a certification panel.
This is a wonderful opportunity to:
– Have your expertise recognized
Your experience as a coach is valuable, but without a recognized credential, it may be underestimated. VAE allows you to officially validate your skills through a credential registered with the RNCP (National Directory of Professional Certifications).
This recognition by the government is a mark of professionalism and quality, which reassures both companies and individuals.
– Gain professional credibility
In an ever-evolving coaching market, credibility is crucial. Being certified means showing organizations, recruiters, and clients that you meet rigorous standards and that your practice is based on skills validated by a professional panel.
In the face of competition, a certified coach inspires greater confidence.
– Boost your career opportunities
The RNCP Professional Coach Certification opens doors that experience alone isn’t always enough to open.
- For companies: easier visibility with HR departments, training organizations, and restructuring projects, where an official certification is often required.
- For public institutions: access to funded projects (CPF, OPCO, etc.), which are often inaccessible without a recognized certification.
- For your personal career: business growth, new client bases, leadership roles, and enhanced credibility in your work.
In short, VAE transforms your career path into a lever for recognition and professional development, and positions you as a key player in the coaching field, with both organizations and individuals.
Who is the VAE intended for?
- Practicing coaches (freelancers, employees, executives, volunteers) who wish to have their practice officially recognized.
- Experienced professionals in team management, corporate coaching, or individual coaching on professional topics.
